A successful Plenary Assembly of the IFSC closed on Saturday 26th February with the Gala dinner organized by FASI and hosted at the General Command of the Defense.

More than 60 delegates gathered in Rome  the day before to attend the workshop on “International and National Federations: the way together”, held by Dragana and Matthew Clarke of Amadeus Holdings and by Markus Gergeli, Sports Director of the International Triathlon Union.

The Assembly was attended by more than 60 participants, and by 37 voting Federations, who approved significant measures that will have significant impact on the future developments of the IFSC. The most important one was the approval of the Marketing plan presented by the Amadeus Holdings, the Agency that had been entrusted with this task, the approval of the provisional budget 2011 for the suggestions included in the Marketing plan.

The Executive Board also announced that Top30 was selected – further to the discussions brought on by Amadeus – as the IFSC global partner for 2011 and 2012, strengthening thus a relationship that had been growing in the last two years.
