Operations Management EU Visitor Experience

Amadeus has been appointed to provide the Operation Management/Planning Services - World Expo 2015 European Union (EU) Pavilion ( ground floor) Visitor Experience.

With only 105 to go, the non- commercial Universal Exposition, open from May 1 to October 31, 2015, will host over 130 participants. Running for 184 days, this giant exhibition site, covering one million square meters, will bring the theme of “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” to the attention of over 20 million visitors.


The European Union Visitor Experience Pavilion is being produced by MCI, the event management company based in Benelux, Belgium. Having coordinated the concepts, and designs, MCI are now focusing their attention on the Operation of the space. MCI in turn have appointed Amadeus Holdings AG as the Operations Manager, responsible for the development of Concept of Operations, through to the management supervision and coordination of the space whilst the Expo  is open. “We are delighted to have Amadeus bring their event knowledge and experience to the team, and we are confident this will result in a great experience for each and every visitor to our space” said Matteo Pederzoli, Executive Producer, MCI.
